Are you insured?

Austin Dog Walker takes every precaution possible to insure the safety of your dog and your personal property.   We are insured and bonded by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.   Please contact us or our vendor for more detailed information about our expanded coverage.

Are you licensed?

The Austin Dog Walker staff is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross.   Austin Dog Walker is a registered business with the city of Austin and Travis County since 2005.

Can you provide references?

We sure can.  Just drop us a line and we will be glad to send you a list of personal references.

Are the dogs ever taken off leash?

Austin Dog Walker does not promote off leash walking and strictly adheres to all local laws.   Off leash walking is only permitted in leash-free locations designated as such by both Travis County and/or the city of Austin.   Safety for you and your pet is our #1 concern.  

How do we get started?

  1. Contact us to set up a consultation appointment.
  2. Austin Dog Walker will email the application/agreement for you to fill out.
  3. During our free consultation we will go over the standard contract for service and pick up 2 keys to your home.
  4. Payment by week or by month is accepted and is due prior to service being rendered.  We accept cash, check, and for your convenience, we offer online payment options for those who wish to pay by credit card.

Who will have access to my home?

Austin Dog Walker, its employees and employer, will be the only parties with access to your home.  All keys are kept in a secured location when not in use and no address or other personal information is attached to the key.
